As part of their dedication to combating climate change, they have set ambitious emission reduction targets approved by the Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi). Their commitment aims to achieve a temperature rise of less than 1.5°C (or 2.7°F) by 2030.
This aggressive target aligns with the global efforts to limit the adverse effects of climate change and emphasizes their role in mitigating their carbon footprint.
A Positive Impact
Humanscale is driven by its mission to have a planet-positive impact across all aspects of its operations. To achieve this, they have undertaken various initiatives to lead the way towards a more sustainable future.
For instance, the launch of Path, the World’s Most Sustainable Office Chair, as part of their innovative sustainability initiative, that represents a step forward in their journey towards becoming a circular and regenerative company.
Additionally, they have taken significant strides in eliminating toxic High Fluorinated Chemicals (HFRs) from their products, ensuring a healthier environment for both our customers and the planet.
