Marset Vetra Table Light

Additional Product Information

Description

At first glance, Vetra could be no more than a traditional, old-fashioned, blown-glass lamp, but turning it on yields a surprise. Joan Gaspar uses a completely closed glass diffuser as a reflector, and creatively places the light source outside -instead of inside- the shade. It gives off an unexpected amount of light, without glare. Much of its light is directed downward—the rest flows gently into the shade, giving it a subtle illumination.

This collection has also been designed in different diameters for the floor and suspension versions. The table and floor versions feature a segmented post, a feature that breaks the symmetry and creatively routes the cable outlet.
